Results of the application of XHOSPIpro and JHOSPI*
Several German hospitals already use XHOSPIpro to perform various analysis. Thereby they investigated product comparisons as well as product handling optimization. The results of some examples of the application of XHOSPIpro in Germany are presented in the following. The result representation always answers the following questions:
- What was the object of investigation or the specific question?
- What is the starting situation (before optimization) and which which costs and environmental loads result from it?
- How could the investigated product alternatives and process chains be optimized
- Which advantages for the hospitals could be achieved regarding costs reduction and reduction of environmental loads by realizing the found optimization potentials?
Typical examples for product comparisons are:
- Comparison between disposable and re-usable bed covers
- Comparison between disposable and re-usable redon's suction bottles
Typical examples for product handling and process chain optimization are:
- Optimization of the handling of re-usable incontinence sheets
- Optimization of the handling of bronchial suction systems
Very often the analysis and the comparison of products also indicate on process chain optimization of the product handling.
Important note:
Each hospital is different. These results are only valid in this hospital with its specific situation and priorities. An other hospital may come to different conclusions. XHOSPIpro allows to consider the local situation.
JHOSPI is the Japansese version of XHOSPIpro.
As the results are calculated in various hospitals, BIfA can not take over the responsibility for correct results.
